Over a multi-year partnership, this relationship has grown into a deeply integrated production alliance. EESW repeatedly trusts Luna Tides to capture their expanding calendar of events, live broadcasts, and educational initiatives. Because the Luna Tides team operates with a deep understanding of EESW’s educational and public-sector priorities, both organisations collaborate with immense speed and confidence. This ongoing continuity has allowed them to build a highly recognisable visual identity and a flexible, ever-evolving content library that bridges the gap between education and industry.

The core mission of this partnership has been to deliver engaging film, photography, and digital content that showcases clear pathways into engineering and manufacturing careers. With the growing demand for STEM skills, it was critical to connect students directly with real people, modern facilities, and real-world industrial opportunities. Success required creating inspiring, youth-focused visual storytelling that resonated instantly with young minds, while remaining highly professional and informative for educators, stakeholders, and corporate sponsors. Across every project - from industry tours to award ceremonies - the goal has been to strengthen outreach activity, maximise student engagement, and highlight the tangible impact of EESW’s programs across Wales.

LUNA TIDES adopted an agile, story-led content strategy tailored to the unique rhythms of educational calendars and fast-paced live events. The production process began with collaborative planning to align key messaging, followed by deployable, small crew setups designed to minimise disruption in busy school and industry environments. To capture authentic student experiences, the team combined documentary-style storytelling and interview-led content with high-end event coverage and motion graphics.

Navigating the logistics of multi-location filming, live event broadcasts, and working with student contributors required strict safeguarding-aware protocols and a highly flexible mindset. When schedules shifted rapidly mid-event, the production crew adapted on the fly to capture crucial moments without sacrificing quality. Furthermore, Luna Tides utilised a smart post-production workflow, versioning and recutting captured footage across multiple formats to ensure every asset could be reused for schools, digital platforms, and stakeholder presentations alike.

What began as an initial project has developed into a rich content ecosystem consisting of an expanding suite of films, professional photography, and branded assets. Over the course of the partnership, Luna Tides has successfully delivered a massive array of key assets. This includes the central EESW Brand Film and motion graphic logo identity, extensive event coverage and live broadcasts of the Swansea Arena Awards Presentation Days, and specialised mini-documentaries like Transforming Young Minds and the Tech Valleys engineering student feature. The team also produced vital education and outreach media, including targeted industry tour films at major hubs like Dragon Studios, Eriez, and Aston Martin, alongside specialised multi-film packages for F1 in Schools and Introduction to Engineering Manufacturing.

The observable impact of this work is demonstrated by its continuous reuse and expansion across multiple years, providing EESW with sustained, long-term marketing value. By bringing authentic student perspectives to the forefront, these high-caliber visual resources have successfully improved youth engagement, elevated the brand’s digital presence, and helped EESW STEM Cymru cultivate stronger, highly visible connections between education and the wider engineering sector.
