OUR RELATIONSHIP
WITH
GlastonBarry
LUNA TIDES has worked with Mack Events since 2023, developing a close and long-standing partnership around GlastonBarry Tribute Festival. What began as a production relationship has grown into a much broader creative partnership, with LUNA TIDES now supporting the festival across video production, social media, marketing and digital content.
Over the years, our involvement has grown alongside the festival itself. We have become closely integrated with the Mack Events team, working across the planning and delivery of each annual campaign as well as the festival weekend itself. This has included everything from promotional content and paid advertising through to live event coverage and the ongoing management of social content.
Having worked across multiple editions of the festival, we have developed a detailed understanding of the event, its audience and the way the Mack Events team operates. This continuity allows us to work quickly, make informed creative decisions and provide the level of ongoing support expected from a major creative partner rather than simply an external production supplier.
Delivering outstanding work with us, year after year!

FEATURED WORK

The challenge was to create a year-round content strategy that could generate momentum around the festival, from the first stages of ticket promotion through to the event itself and beyond.
The campaign needed to combine strong visual storytelling with practical marketing content, including promotional films, social media assets, paid advertising and live event coverage. Each element had to work hard across different stages of the customer journey -building awareness, creating excitement, encouraging ticket purchases and keeping the audience engaged.
With a community-led festival and a wide-ranging programme of performers, the content also needed to capture what makes GlastonBarry distinctive: the people, atmosphere and sense of fun that keep audiences coming back year after year.
LUNA TIDES worked closely with the GlastonBarry team throughout each campaign to plan and coordinate the content needed across the year. This involved developing content calendars, identifying key moments in the ticketing journey and aligning production with the festival’s wider marketing activity, ensuring there was a consistent flow of relevant content from early promotion through to the event itself.
The social strategy combined video with a wider mix of interactive and campaign-led content, including polls, competitions, seasonal posts and targeted ticket pushes. Paid social campaigns were developed alongside the organic content, allowing key messages and ticket promotions to reach new audiences while supporting the wider campaign.
During the festival, dedicated crews covered the main stages, food and trader areas, performers and wider audience experience. Content was captured and curated for live social publishing throughout the weekend, giving audiences an immediate window into the festival as it happened.
As the festival has evolved, so has the approach to its event coverage. Over the last two years, the single annual highlight film has developed into three dedicated films - one for each day of the festival. This has allowed us to capture more of the individual moments, performances and audience experience across the weekend, while creating a greater volume of promotional content to carry the festival into the following year.
In 2026, we also expanded the scope of production to capture additional content showcasing Mack Events’ stages, equipment and technical capabilities in action. These assets were created for use beyond the festival campaign, giving Mack Events a library of professional visual content to support its wider sales and business development activity.

The 2025 GlastonBarry campaign delivered strong growth across reach, engagement and audience development, with the majority of views generated organically:
• Nearly 2 million total views
• More than 34 days of total watch time
• 110% increase in 3-second views
• 330% increase in 1-minute views
• 60% increase in link clicks
• 14% increase in followers across Facebook and Instagram
The results demonstrated the impact of combining consistent year-round content with targeted ticket promotion and paid social activity. The campaign not only increased the festival’s digital reach, but also drove stronger engagement and interaction from its audience.
Feedback from the festival organisers highlighted the professionalism, creativity and responsiveness of the LUNA TIDES team. The increased volume and visibility of content also generated positive feedback from attendees, with the organisers reporting a noticeable rise in compliments around the festival’s promotion and overall digital presence.
